Don’t make any mistakes when it comes to planning your big day music
Music can speak without words. It can send messages that trespass time, borders and even languages. It can make a day more beautiful, it can make you feel more in love than ever and, ultimately, it can influence you in ways no other form of art has ever been able to.
Of course your wedding day music is absolutely crucial for you! How do you make sure you don’t make any mistakes when it comes to it, though? Well, here are some tips to guide you through this:
Take an educated decision. Yes, DJs may cost less than wedding bands – but that’s not universally true. Likewise, bands may need more space than a DJ – but then again, it all depends on one-too-many variables to base your wedding music decision on something you have simply “heard” from “a friend of a friend”.
Discuss all of your concerns. Once you have decided on a particular band or DJ, be sure you actually communicate with them. Talk about the equipment and everything needed, but don’t forget to talk to them about the songs you want and don’t want at your wedding too. Yes, it’s really important to do this!
Remember to build up the party “mode”. Don’t start with party songs right from the very moment your guests walk into the reception. Start slow and build up the energy. This way, your guests will feel much more inclined to actually join you on the dance fllor.
