Planning a long distance wedding
We all know planning a wedding is never actually easy – and even more so when you have to coordinate all the details from afar. Of course, destination weddings are worth all the effort, especially for the adventurous couples. How do you actually do this, though? How do you plan a long distance wedding? We have some tips for you – read on to find out more.
First of all, make a list of things to do. Split the tasks in two groups: the issues you can solve back home (such as buying presents for your wedding party, or even buying the wedding dress itself), and the issues you can only solve at your wedding location (meeting with the vendors, booking a wedding venue, and so on). Make sure you stick to your plan, so that you stay organized and stress-free.
Keep it as simple as possible. Minimalist weddings are all the hype right now – so why complicate your life and your wedding planning process, when you can create something absolutely superb, unique, and elegant in a simpler, “less-is-more” approach?
Accept the fact that there will be times when you will absolutely have to…let go. It will not be easy, but given the situation and the long distance planning, you should be ready to face such situations too. The most important thing is that you truly enjoy your wedding day, though - it is a once-in-a-lifetime kind of event, and you should seize every second of it!
