Rehearsal Dinner Tips You Will Love

Thought the rehearsal dinner isn’t that important? Well, it may not be as monumental as the Big Day – but it can definitely help you create the right atmosphere during the wedding day itself.

So, how do you plan a rehearsal dinner everyone invited will love? We have some tips to help you transform this pre-wedding event into a truly unforgettable experience for everyone – read on and find out more.

  • Be funky and casual. Even if your wedding is very elegant, you are still more than allowed to have a casual rehearsal dinner. This means you have a lot of creative freedom with the venue, the theme, the décor, the dress code, and the food. Play around and provide your guests with a really fun evening!

  • You can dress in white. It is not mandatory that you dress in white, but if you have a lot of out-of-town guests you haven’t managed to greet just yet, dressing in white will make it easier for them to find you and come talk to you.

  • Record all those (funny) speeches. Sure, you will record the wedding day toasts too – but given that you are all in a much more informal environment, the speeches will be more causal (and there’s a fair chance they will be funnier too). Record them and add them to your collection – these are memories that deserve to be cherished!

  • If you want to save some money on your rehearsal dinner, get a better deal by booking it earlier in the day. It will make no difference for you or your guests (not in terms of how you feel during the event) – but it will most probably make a significant difference for your total budget.
