The Dos
When it comes to the dos of modern wedding trends, we have eco weddings. From vegan menus to food made from fresh ingredients, wedding couples are choosing to be more environmentally friendly when it comes to their wedding these days. Natural dainty bouquets are also in vogue with colors going from classic to bolder and brighter. Bridesmaid dresses are also shifting away from the sync pattern to individual styles and eclectic color mixes.
The Don’ts
When it comes to the US and many other countries, showing off at weddings seem to be phasing out. Couples are opting for more private and intimate ceremonies that express love. The wedding welcome bag is also on its way out with couples choosing to live a nice bottle of wine or a handwritten note to welcome their guests from out of state. Wedding favors have also been affected as couples are shifting from the traditional wedding favors to wedding photos and video keepsakes.
For your wedding, you can either choose to stick with the old or embrace the new. You can also have a mix of both if you so choose. The key is to be realistic, stick to your budget and make sure that your decisions make you and your partner happy.
